My late Aikido teacher also was a Shakuhachi player and therefore, while I have never played this traditional Japanese bamboo flute myself, I always had an interest in and connection to it.
Therefore, when Shawn Renzoh Head Shihan, a professional Shakuhachi player and teacher, reached out to me, it was clear we had to make a video together.
